Dr. Marcus Kim Blackburn, MD

We LOVE Dr Blackburn and can’t rate him highly enough! Not only is he amazing with our newborn, he also ran a test that I believe not all other doctors would have thought to do. The test came back positive for HSV and we were able to treat our newborn daughter at primary as a result, luckily before the virus had spread to any of her organs and been potentially life threatening. We will always be grateful to him for catching this so early, for his follow up care and for genuinely just being wonderful. Thank you Dr Blackburn for being someone we can trust!!

Best pediatrician ever! He's always very friendly and caring. I only take my kids to him a couple times a year but he seems to remember him and make us feel valued. I highly recommend him.

Dr Blackburn sees both my girls and fees so amazing! My second daughter was born early and in the special care nursery for 9 long days. Dr Blackburn was so amazing during that hard time he would come in before clinic and stop by sometimes on his lunch and then make sure and visit before he left for the day. He made sure and included me in my daughter's care and made sure I was aware of all our options. He's so incredibly patient and you can tell he loves the kids and his job. My 4 yr old loves going in to see him. She thinks he's hilarious with his animal sounds in her ears. I can't tell you how just how wonderful he truly is. All I can say is he is amazing at what he does and we just love him. I won't go to anyone else.

I love Dr. Blackburn! His bedside manner and patient interaction are phenomenal! He remembers my son by name even outside of the office. He listens to my questions and answers them in detail. I never feel spoken down to or belittled. His staff are awesome and my son and I have never waited more than 10 minutes total in the waiting room and exam combined. I recommend Dr. Blackburn to every mom I hear looking for a new pediatrician and as long as I'm within an hour drive of his office he will always be our family pediatrician.

When we were looking for a new pediatrician, a friend recommended Southridge Pediatrics. The doctor she recommended there was not taking new patients so we decided to try Dr. Blackburn. We have no regrets! We absolutely love Dr. Blackburn. He is friendly and funny. He makes you feel at ease, and is truly concerned about your child. He is very informative, and usually has answered all my questions before I ask them. He makes follow up calls, and always lets you know that he's available to call whenever. Especially when you have an infant, you can call him and he will try to do everything to help you over the phone and NOT have to come in to the office to avoid exposing your baby to other sick children (I was truly amazed as most doctors won't do anything without having you come in and pay a fee and look at your child.) His staff is courteous and helpful. We have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and only have ever waited 5-10 minutes once we get into a room. We love… Dr. Blackburn and Southridge Pediatrics!

We love Dr. Blackburn. He is very patient and he truly cares, he remembers you and is concerned about your child. Actually takes the time to listen to you and gives great suggestions and information. He connected with my child like no other Dr ever has. I truly think he is amazing.

Dr. Blackburn is an awesome pediatrician and we have been grateful many times over that we found him. We have moved further away from his office and even though we have many pediatricians close by we continue to take our daughter to see him. He has helped us through many difficult times with our daughters health and his love and concern for her welfare shows why he deserves to be in this field. He is able to connect with our daughter unlike some of the previous doctors she has had.
