I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I choose medicine over other professional opportunities because I knew I wanted to do this work. And I made the right decision. My wife and I have been married for 32 years. We have three children: a son who is a lawyer, another son who is in real estate development, and a daughter who is an undergraduate at Boston College. My favorite hobbies are outdoor activities, especially horseback riding.
