Dr. Marek Andrew Stawiski, MD

Minimal time spent with a patient. A quick glance, possibly 2-3 minutes and then on to the next patient. I believe at one time he was rated highly, but now does not spend the adequate time. He seems like a nice person, but is care has declined.

Time for him to retire. He has an "old school" methodology of freezing and cutting when alternative forms of topical solutions is available.

Worst medical office I have ever dealt with but unfortunately they are the only dermatology office in the area that accept my insurance so I'm stuck. I've only ever met with Katelyn Dennis, PA who is very personable and knowledgeable and the front desk staff seems nice. The problem is, I cannot get a return call to save my life. I have left 4 messages in the last 3 weeks. One for the nurse, 2 with the front desk, and 1 with the office manager. I have received exactly ZERO return calls. I was told we should hear back about insurance within 1-2 weeks. It has now been 4 (on Friday) and no one will return my calls. If I didn't need the medication, they could all go kick rocks for all I care. I am so over this office.

He has found and treated skin cancer, that no other doctor noticed. Found and treated shingles, where other doctors failed.

Many of my family members (parents, kids, spouses) have been Stawisksi's patients since the 60's back when he was downtown. Unfortunately he now kicks out his old patients if they don't visit often enough, and they have to start as a "new patient" again getting a referral and waiting months to get in for a consult or visit. You'd think over 50 years as his patient would count as something when trying to make an appointment. My our records are there. My mom is 92 and totally doesn't understand why this happened since we have a long history with him since the Medical Arts days.

Terrible office. Terrible front desk workers and Dr. Marek doesn't pay attention to his patients at all.

This is one of the most poorly run medical offices in Western Michigan! Before you consider making an appointment at this office, do some research on the staff turnover rate. Office staff are rude and unfriendly; the office manager is non-responsive. Avoid this office!

I am rating Dr. Stawiski ONLY. I find Dr Stawiski to be a very good MD with a great demeanor. I have him as my derm MD for many years. The staff however seems short (especially on the phone). I went to pickup some samples that I was told by staff were at the downtown office. I drive a 35 minute ride one way to get them only to wait ten minutes to find out they don't have the samples! GEEZ!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! You are only a number to him! Sat in the waiting room for over an hour, finally got in a room and waited another 30 minutes. Never looked me in the eye and and was in the room for less than 2 minutes. Never got the answers I came for. Called the office manager and she only made excuses for him. This office is A JOKE!!!!!

He never spoke to me, made nurse do most. After incision and cyst removal ran off and had nurse finish stitching up. No after care. Bad news!
