Dr. Margaret L Wilson has the following 2 specialties
Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in the care of patients in the hospital. The majority of hospitalists are board-certified internists and have completed the same training as other internal medicine doctors including medical school, residency and board certification examination.
Hospitalist activities include patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital care. They have more expertise in caring for complicated hospitalized patients on a daily basis since, unlike other specialists or primary care doctors, they spend most of their day in the hospital.
They often coordinate the care of their patients and act as the central point of communication among the different doctors and nurses involved in the patient's care. They are also the main physician for family members to contact for updates on a loved one.
- Family Medicine
A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist.
The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.

She is the worst physician I have been to in my life. She is rude arrogant and uninformed about adult ADD. She has no business treating adults with this condition. I have had Presbyterian health insurance for over 25 years and she is the worst doctor I have ever seen. I will be making a complaint to the New Mexico medical board!
Refused to see my 86 year old mother because she was one minute later than their cut-off time for being late. This despite her daughter flying in from out of town to drive her to the appointment, despite having called the office to notify them that construction was causing traffic delays, and despite having to accommodate them the day before by rescheduling. The lack of sensitivity was jaw-dropping. Don't expect any humanity or compassion from this doctor.
I was assigned to Dr. Wilson following the retirement of my previous Presbyterian Dr. She spent time with me, going over my records and spent a comprehensive 1st vist . She showed concern about previous vitamin and chloresterol levels, and ordered labs to be done, and updated vaccinations. Following the labs, she scheduled a telephone consultation during which she made new recommendations for medications. I found her to be most pleasant and attentive.
I have had 3 visits with her at to this point she still has not " Listened " to a word I have said about my concerns. She has the worst bedside manner. I do not appreciate that she does not want to review any past history as I have pages and pages of reports and documents and I have brought them with me to office to discuss and she is too interested in herding you through instead of getting to know you as a patient. I am moving here from another state and I feel she should be doing more to get to know me as a patient not just a $$ to run through and on to the next patient. I do have many issues and they all need to be visited at least, the one thing I requested our first visit has yet to be discussed and I was told I needed a repeat endoscopy within 12 weeks after my previous it has now been 4 weeks and I waited 3 weeks to get an appt. originally in Oct. 2016. her only interest is in my flu shot and quit smoking , no interest in any of my concerns. I am not happy with her and I will be trying to find another DR. She is not the Dr. I can be confident in talking to address my concerns and instill the confidence in me that I can talk to her about anything , she makes you feel unimportant and unheard and I need more in a DR.
