Dr. Margaret Lubega, MD

I am very displeased with this doctor! My nephew was seen by this woman and was dismissive and did not seem to care or take in to consideration that something was wrong with my 2 month old nephew! My sister took his to get checked because he was projectile vomiting and spitting up after every feed all she told my sister is that she was over feeding but he was still not holding food down even when she switched him from breast milk to formula.. she takes him back and still tells her she’s over feeding but he hasn’t even eaten enough for a 2 month old baby.. she scheduled another appointment with another pediatrician and she knew right away what was wrong from just feeling his tummy. All she had to do was listen to my sisters concerns but did not!!! She’s a new mom and just wanted some answers!! We found out yesterday he has pyloric stenosis and had to have surgery this morning:( who knows how long this could have gone on because what he has does not go away on it’s own! He lost 2… pounds!!! And was dehydrated:( I just think this doctor did poorly because if she just took the time to listen to his symptoms and check him out maybe we could have gotten all of this done sooner! Very angry, very annoyed! For a doctor i understand your job can be stressful but at the end of the day it’s your job to treat your patients, not ignore what they have to say! ZERO STARS!!!!

When a doctor cares for your children from infancy through the teen years, she becomes like family. That's Dr. Lubega, whom we've known now for 14 years. We've never had a negative experience at First Pediatric Care Center, P.A. In fact Dr. Lubega always takes a lot of time addressing my concerns for my kids. Making sure I understand and educate me as much as I need to answering all my questions. She made my kids feel included. She is a great pediatrician! Everyone was attentive and courteous. Dr. Lubega. is excellent with children.

My child was seen today one week ago and needs antibiotics per Dr. Lubega after finding she had a swollen tonsil and sore throat. Dr. Lubega herself showed me the tonsil. She also needs albuterol for her nebulizer for a cough she has had for 3 weeks. She told me since it was scheduled a " routine 7yo well visit" she couldn't treat her as a "sick patient" (insurance wouldn't let her bill everything the same day, so she'd be losing money) so she said she'd send in the prescriptions Saturday-the next day. Still nothing. Now it's been a week i've had to call 3 times to REMIND her to send the prescription and it is STILL NOT called in. Now she's denying even telling me she had a swollen tonsil(because she forgot to document it) and wants me to bring my daughter back in to be "swabbed"(which should have been done the day she saw the possible infection, yet again, she wouldn't have got paid). Now my child is without care until I can find another pediatrician. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR… CHILD(ren) HERE. Absolutely terrible experience. From the long wait time to not receiving honest and prompt care!

They overbook daily. I have waited almost 2 hrs in the Waiting area. I have walked out because I could no longer wait. She charges for every simple piece of paper, and she even lies to medicaid billing dept. Most of her staff are nice. It's obvious they're fresh out of school and ended up stuck with her. I have had to beg her for meds for my children because she thought they "weren't that sick". Please DO NOT take your children to her!

Nope, she hasn't changed a bit, still rude as ever. Still slow as ever, still calls her assistants inside the room to scold them for her own mistakes. Very bad bedside manner. Staff is very friendly.

Please do not subject your children to this Dr. She is rude and unprofessional. She had the nerve to scold my 3yo (who came along for my other child's visit) for "not behaving" while she was in the room after we'd waiting over 90mins.

my last visit here was a couple years ago but this is what i can say, shes mean to her nurses. the staff seemed to be afraid of her! she "didnt like" my daughters name so she refused to say it and called her ms(last name). My poor little girl was getting sick SO much and all she ever did was give her albuterol. The VERY first appointment that i made with a different Doctor, we were given a more accurate diagnosis and better medication! My daughter has not been sick since!! Dr Lubega, is not a very good doctor and i would NOT recommend anyone take their child to her. (again, this is based on experiences from a couple years ago, i HOPE she has gotten better and started to treat people with more respect)

I will never come here again!!!!!!!!!!! Waited 2 hours for her to tell me she will not give me meds b/c she hasn't seen me in a while, and she thought the pharmacy where I receive my meds took to long to fax my record to this office. Rude & Disrespectful!!!!! I wouldn't bring a dog here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will not release all medical files to me (parent).
