Dr. Margaret Sacco, MD

Dr. Sacco is an excellent doctor. She is forthright in both diagnosis and treatment options for her patients. I am the type of person that drives her own care based on all the options available to me and am not afraid to speak up if I prefer a different approach. When we were having a difficult conversation, she said to me that the decision is a partnership between her (the doctor) and the patient (me) and I couldn't agree more. She is a doctor that realizes the best outcome is when an agreement is made by both parties involved. I love a straight shooter and not someone who coddles their patients. She is no nonsense. If one is looking for coddling, look elsewhere. If one wants a professional medical opinion and to know all their options, then she fits that bill. I highly recommend Dr. Sacco. I am certainly extremely satisfied with the joint decision we made!

Don't let her touch you unless, you are OK with extremely rude conduct and poor surgical skills.

Had a really bad experience with her. Really poor bedside manner. She can be quite abrupt in her demeanor. I went in for a consult, and ended up with a breast exam that made me feel like an abused piece of meat to her. She also caused me much breast pain. See someone else. Not worth all the extra stress you get during and after your visit.

Very professional, honest, straight forward manner, gives you all the options, answered all our questions, didn't rush us out.

Great surgeon, thorough, shoots from the hip and does it with compassion. Spends as much time with you as necessary answering questions, explaining everything. Highly recommended by other doctors and patients and I've referred quite a few to her myself. The staff is very efficient and friendly. I just don't like waiting an hour in the reception room - that is my only complaint and that seems to be the norm every time I have to go there.

Don't let this Dr. touch you! She pinched my nipples so hard, I wanted to scream the B word. There is something really sick about this Dr. I don't believe she treats everyone she comes in contact equally, and professionally. I have posted concerns here before and mysteriously they have been deleted. Who is protecting who? Someone else mentioned she is like Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde! Where is that comment?

I have been under Dr Sacco's care since 2002 I believe. She is extremely competent! I would recommend her to anyone!

I consider myself a very fortunate cancer survivor as I had very early stage and required lumpectomy and radiation (no chemo). Dr. Sacco shoots straight from the hip and is very down to earth. I like that in a doctor. My cancer was very close to the surface of the skin but I heard she was a Gifted Surgeon and she certainly is. She has good judgement, she got clean margins, she made very good recommendations and is on the mark. Her staff is just AWESOME !!! I love Vinnie, Christine and I apologize if I don't remember everyone. They are on the ball, great with follow up and make you feel comfortable. Someone gave a review stating the doctor didn't have good bedside manner - that is NOT TRUE. If you need someone to sugar coat everything then put on the Rose colored glasses & see someone else. Dr. Sacco is not going to lie to you and maybe some patients cannot handle the truth. When you have cancer, you need to know the truth so you can do your research and somehow - digest it. … She isn't a cold person at all, she tells you the truth. I admire that. She also spends time with you. I was there when a patient in the next room apparently was very distraught and freaking out. Dr.Sacco finally saw me and apologized that she had a patient who needed more time to come to terms with what she was told. Like I said - excellent doctor & surgeon!
