Dr. Maria F. Bruce

My wife had her as a PCP, she had some acute issues, needed to see Dr. Bruce, called, went to office, sent away twice, would not make appointment for several weeks. Will no longer be using this provider, unable or unwilling to see established clients in a timely manner.

We just moved to Joplin and have seen Dr. Bruce. All has been great.

I saw Dr. Bruce when my doctor was out of town for a vacation and I love her. I will be switching to her for good.

AWFUL. I’m a college student and she ended up racking up an $1100 bill for me because of an STI test I wasn’t aware of. I would’ve gone to planned parenthood to get a check, id NEVER agree to pay that much. Medellin very taken advantage of. ALL about taking your money

Always had excellent experiences with D.r Bruce

With all the pain medication abuse, I understand that some doctors would be hesitant to perscribe pain medication. Doctor Bruce is so worried that she could be reprimanded for over medicating, that she will not prescribe anything now.Thats non pain medication also

She was extremely arrogant. She did not listen. She expressed mistrust of my previous diagnosis, even though I provided her with 16 years of tests and the corresponding diagnoses. I was so astounded by her complete disregard for me and the diagnoses from a host of multiple doctors that I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of this woman's attitude. Apparently my laughter offended her, and she became extremely rude. She approached me in an aggressive manner, holding her stethoscope to my chest and back even though her PA had already performed this procedure. Her PA was very respectful and polite when I explained to her that I was uncomfortable being touched by strangers. However, the doctor disregarded my feelings, and was somewhat rough during her redundant examination. I had been seeing the same doctor for 5 years until he moved out of state. It took me a year and a half of excruciating pain before getting the courage to seek out another doctor, and this is what I had to endure… for my trouble. Ms. Blunt intentionally humiliated me. I am 58 years old. I am an educated woman. I know my body inside and out. This so-called doctor refused to treat me because I didn't revere her as some sort of a god. Shame on you! Even your PA was embarrassed by you and she tried to take up for me, but she was also disregarded by this inept woman. Something should be done about her inexcusable, unacceptable behavior. I intend to see about that very thing.

Very thorough

After hearing my symptoms Bruce looked at me and said there's nothing wrong with you.Later I was diagnosed by other doctors with severe restless leg syndrome and acid reflux. She was neither kind nor caring just dismissed me.
