Dr. Maria Luz Lara-Marquez, MD

I visited the Urgent Care the other day after suffering from a severe and persistent cough for many months. After having had multiple tests run, X-rays and trips to the ER/primary care/pulmonologist, I finally came across Dr. Marquez and it was like a miracle happened. She actually took the time to talk to me, spend TIME with me, review my medical history and recent lab values, listened to my lungs, ordered another chest X-ray and diagnosed me with bronchitis and pneumonia. I had gone to the pulmonologist the DAY BEFORE and he didn't even bother to listen to my lungs. Dr. Marquez followed up with me after the appointment to make sure I was feeling better. She had the best bedside manner of any doctor I had ever seen. I would go to her for all of my medical needs in the future because of her depth of expertise/knowledge and the fact that she ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HER PATIENTS.

IMy son has had recurrent sinus infections for years, and Dr. Lara-Marquez has been instrumental in preventing their reoccurrence. I brought him to her because I was very impressed with her extensive experience. She was passionate and dedicated to helping my son feel better. She would even check-in to see how he was feeling! I highly recommend her.

She was very concerned with my daughters health. She even gave me her cell number so I could contact her directly with my childs condition... Great doctor!
