Dr. Maria Pilar Elisa Tejada Dayaw, MD

After reading reviews I wonder if this is the Dr. Dayaw I go to. Had cluster headaches for 30 plus years. She is the only doctor who helped me. Takes time to explain and really cares abpout patient. THE BEST!

Medical care is OK, the running of the office is my major complaint. Staff do not answer the phones and if they happen to call you back it is a crazy game of phone tag. The worst thing is I am still getting bills I paid 4 months ago. Oh and they are now sending debt collectors after me for bills, that again, I already PAID. Only two of the reasons I decided to switch to a new Neurology Practice. Medical care there is not worth the headache of dealing with the incompetent staff and billing office.

She is completely incompetent. Put me through horrible withdrawals trying to take me off a medication. Also, office staff NEVER returns calls/answers the phone! Completely frustrating and they don’t even show compassion when you ask them why they run their office like this! Please please please save yourself your time and money and find a doctor and practice that actually cares! Would give ZERO a stars if I could!

We had a terrible experience with every aspect of care at this office from the front desk staff to the doctor herself. The only exception was the medical assistant. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time at this office. You'll just end up having to go somewhere else for a second opinion.

I just became a patient of Dr. Dayaw, she said that I should have an MRI right away to better evaluate the problem and get proper treatment. Her office assistant Diane still has not scheduled MRI after two weeks, and is quick to blame Primary Care Doctor as the cause. I have called numerous times but she is rude and unwilling to figure out how to make an MRI appt. Really unbelievable that a Doctor would put up with this!

Nice lady, smart doctor. Seems to think her plan of care for a patient does not prioritize patient wishes.

Impossible to get an answer to a question asked 6 days ago and three phone calls latter.

Dr. Dayaw is amazing! What I love about her is that she is no nonsense. I love her, her dedication to neurology, and everything she has done for me and my MS. I wouldn't want any other doctor.

After all the testing I was diagnosed with MS. I will say that I have never felt so alone and scared she told me then said to get my affairs in order an I'm thinking I'm going to die! She handed me four Huge info packages with video and said take these home and pick which one you want. I left her practice and found a better Dr. With some compassion. Dr Dayhew you need to work on so many things to many to write about!

Dr Dayaw is nice, her office staff is nice but seems to be a bit incompetent and they cant seem to follow directions to save a life. I find this to be a reflection of Dr Dayaw and we will be finding a new Neurologist
