Dr. Maria Carmen Visus, MD

Never got to meet the Dr. I am a patient but do not visit Drs very often, I got sick and had to visit an Urgent Care to get a course of antibiotics. Having nearly finished my course I called Dr. Visus office to schedule an appointment since my symptoms would not go away. I was told I could come in in 5 days (so I called Monday, they offered Friday), which I did not want to do so I asked to either speak with the nurse or the Dr, to see if they might recommend to come in earlier. The reception told me that they will contact the nurse on my behalf and she will call me back within 24-48 h., which NEVER happened. Their inability to even TRY to accommodate is appalling. The Dr. might be fine, I would not know, I only met the other Dr in that office and she was only ok. I am leaving this practice.

I was looking for assistance from their front office staff for my MEDICARE BILLINGS and after asking for assistance the response from the black lady working the front desk rocked me back a little, simply because of the complete rudeness of her tone so I asked the other lady for assistance and without a word she got up and disappeared, this and a previous unpleasant interaction with the their front office will cause me to look elsewhere when my renewal comes up.

Wonderful caring doctor

I had an appointment and I kept it but when I got there, they said the doctor was on spring break??? They said they left me several messages but there were none on my phone. The receptionist then proceeded to talk me into seeing another doctor. I had waited 3 months to see this one and the one she offered me was new so she didn't have many patients. Made me feel like I was unimportant. Do not want to see any of these people now.

This Dr. cares abouot people, and individuals!!! She is smart, saavy and listens...do yourself a favor and see Dr. Visus when you need a fabulous Dr.
