Dr. Marie Azer Bentsianov, MD

I was referred to this doctor by my retired physician. After waiting for over two hours in a waiting room that stunk of food the medical technician called me in and before even meeting the doctor I was told I needed blood work, cardiogram, a breathing test and urine test. Padding the bill before meeting the doctor? Whe I asked where my chart was, because I was told it was sent over there, the tech showed me 4 pieces of paper that had no info on it about me. Note to doctor. Get to knbow who your patients are and what their illness is before sending your tech in to take any unnecessary or dangerous tests.

Dr. Bentsianov is fine and caring physician but she is too busy. Waits of an hour or more are not uncommon. Access is a big problem. The last few times I've taken my elderly mother to see her, we were seen by her assistant instead. She's a lovely young women but I can't have the same dialogue with her I have with Dr. B and I don't trust her as much. She made a medication error at our most recent visit by writing a prescription for the wrong medication. Dr. B. is just too hard to reach. She does not have office hours daily. If you have an emergency or an issue this is a problem. Her staff can be difficult to deal with. On occasion, they asked me to call back rather than taking a telephone message.

Dr. Marie is a good doctor, but unfortunately her staff is totally inept. They make it nearly impossible to get an appointment, get a call back from the doctor to follow up on issues. I saw Dr. M's physician assistant a month ago, and since then have tried unsuccessfully to get a call back. Very frustrating- I will find another doctor now. Dr. Marie's staff works against her.
