Dr. Mariel Silva Musalem, MD

Recently we saw Dr. Silva, Dr Capre and a few others. They were very disappointing.They just really don’t listen and are dismissive.I practically had to beg for a referral to the dermatologist despite my child's documented history of eczema. Your child is already sick so that's stressful enough they most times add to the stress.Good and bad experiences at this office but oftentimes you feel that you are not being heard or that they are treating you so that you have to come back. They give misinformation or conflicting information and sometimes they are rude or just refuse to listen. When my daughter was scared one time about getting an abscess drained the doctor said that she was being overdramatic. I thought that was a bit rude to be a pediatrician and not have empathy for a child that was scared of a needle. And some of  the nurses are not compassionate either when they have to give the children shots.  I believe I liked Dr. Diaz but I don’t know if she’s there any longer. I’ve had… a lot of issues in regards to insurance complications on their end but mostly with the referrals.For the most part they’re substandard. I have continued to go because it is close to the house and I try to only go for wellness checks  *once a year* and if I absolutely have no choice due to illness. I preferred  to go because my daughter had been going so she was younger and I was trying to keep all her doctors records in one place but I believe it’s time for us to look for someone else. I am tired of the runaround in the inconsistencies. They seem to question you as if you have some alternative motive other than the interest of your child's health.

She is the awesome doctor. She is very friendly and explain all my questions!

All three physicians are excellent! They are all smart, knowledgable, thorough, kind, and patient. I recommend this practice to all of my friends with children.

Dr. Perez-Silva is an amazing pediatrician with excellent bed-side manner, professional, knowledgeable and very caring. Although I moved much farther away from her office, I continue to take my boys to her; it is very much worth the trip! Her office staff is very organized, courteous and helpful with all requests needed. I highly recommend Dr. Perez -Silva, you will be glad you chose her!

Absolutely love these people. They care about their patients like if they were their own children. Excellent service and follow up. Any requests from patient's parents are taken seriously and taken care of quick. Their office is fully equipped and has everything the kid might need, including toys for entertainment. Too bad they stopped seing patients on Saturdays and also, after they moved to their new office it's hard to find parking. Overall - will never trade these doctors for any other pediatrician.Love you guys!
