I have been going to Dr Silver for over 20 years. His care has been great.

I’ve been seeing dr silver for over two years. I am so fortunate to have him as my diabetic doctor. Nancy is also great. I also love that he brings his awesome dog to work with him!

Excellent Doctor. Could communicate a little better. Also, I would like him to be a little more skeptical of new medications.

I have been going to DR Silver for several years to treat my diabetes type 2 and some other conditions. I've seen some negative comments about his bedside manner. And I've got to say this is a two way street in that it's up to you to ask questions! DR Silver for me has been great, we talk about my concerns and he is always honest in his answers and spends the time to make sure I understand what he is telling me. Maybe the issue some people are having with his bedside manner has more to do with their willingness to engage than with his willingness to be engaged . For me he is honest with his answers weather I want too or you want to hear his answers.. It's your responsibility to ask the questions not for his to guess what you want to ask!

Very knowledgeable and very likeable.

This ties for the worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor. Did not have my blood results even though I called days ahead of time and got confirmation that they had them. Entire office is out dated and smells like old gym socks. The doctor, when he saw me, wanted to cancel my current prescription and wanted me to come into his office for repeated treatments. "His medicine was better" I told him that this did not work for me and he then told me to just stop taking it even though I need it. My levels need to be adjusted. Sound fishy to me!!! It supports previous posts that he just wants to make more money selling his x brand vs anyone else. His bedside manner is just weird and dismissive. He also tried to blame my doctors office for the lack of paperwork instead of just apologizing and taking responsibility. He asked me to wait for the results and I did for awhile and left. His office staff stated my personnel information in front of a crowded lobby for everyone to hear. Ever hear of HIPPAA!!! I was asked if I was unhappy when I left and I stated "yes". This is the kind of Doctor that gives the medical field a bad name. Never again

Great doctor awsome staff.

Dr. Silver has been my doctor for 10+ years. He is great at analyzing my care by using my comments and lab information. At one time, I was having Kidney issues, which I was unaware of since I had no symptoms, but he noticed in my lab work and did not hesitate to send me to a kidney specialist. I value his opinion and would recommend Dr. Silver without hesitation. Nancy, his office manager, is amazing. She is very professional but friendly, also.

Dr. Silver saved my life. I had cyst on my thyroid that turned out to be thyroid cancer. He kept watch on it, doing follow up ultra sounds. Eventually it started growing and it was cancer. Because of where it was, when the surgeon took it out, he told me they never would have known I had the cancer until it was to late...then I would have been dead in 3 to 6 months. So, as far as I am concerned, Dr. Silver can order all the tests he wants. He is being thorough. Yes, he is not warm and fuzzy, but I don't care.

My goal in seeing him was to find some answers and help me with a solution for my loss of energy, and help with a lagging libido. Im afraid I consulted with the wrong physician. After hearing my list of concerns about the direction my health and energy is taking, Dr. Silvers response was that sounds normal, and he saw no reason to pursue it beyond that. I will continue to pursue this through other physicians, and it is my recommendation not to waste time seeing Dr. Silver. There are other Drs available that will be more helpful.

A couple years prior to visiting Dr. Silver I was diagnosed with Hashimotos, It wasnt affecting me much so I didn't receive and treatment. I finally decided to go to a doctor and get healthy because I constantly was tired and not feeling right. I had every symptom someone with Thyroiditis has. He wouldnt treat me.Instead of treating the disease I was diagnosed with and having all the symptoms of, he told me I was just depressed and had no idea why I was having all the problems. I was referred to a bunch of other doctors who told me the problems were most likely related to my thyroid.I Cried every time I left that office because it was so frustrating. Thank god I have finally found an Endo that will treat me and in 2 months of being on medication my thyroid is half the size it was and i am feeling much better!

If you are looking for warm and fuzzy, you probably will not find that here. However, if you are looking for an accurate diagnosis, and an endocrinologist who will take care of your medical conditions - look no further. Dr. Silver is smart, knows his endocrinology, and will not hesitate to dig deeper if need be. I have been seeing him for 6 years now, and whole heartedly trust him to treat my condition. Specialists aren't always warm and fuzzy types, but when you find someone who knows his/her stuff - keep them!!

This doctor should be reviewed by the ethics board for wasting people's money by having them come to unnecessary follow-up appointments. He is rude and has poor people skills. He even seemed unknowledgeable about his field. I would rate him 0 stars if that was an option. Save yourself the time and avoid this incompetent doctor.

The staff is personable. Dr. Silver does care about his patients,althouth he may at times not look at you while talking. But that can change. he is focused and a perfectionist. We are happy to be a part of this family.

he is just wierd not in a bad way just and odd duck and I agree about others complaing that he keesp ya coming back. It's almost like we are guinea pigs.

Fiddles with other Doctors medication orders.Always changing medications.Difficult to talk with.

When we visit a doctor, we pay a fee for service, I feel cheated! During my two visits, I ended up sopending about an hour in the waiting room and fifteen to twenty minutes in the exam room before Dr Silver came in. During our brief five minute visit, he took calls on his cell phone and left the room twice to answer other calls. I'm not certain that he even read my intake forms. My second visit was similar to the first, and I believe I was prescribed something that I don't need. I don't have high blood pressure nor do I have a cholesterol problem but got a prescription for both and a warning not to start the cholesterol lowering drug until two weeks later; I'm still not sure why. As for physical space, the clinic needs a good house cleaning, it looks like my teen aged grandson's room. Dr. Silver is respected by his colleagues and I wish him success in his career. Improvements that could be made are: 1) stick to the schedule -- our time is valuable too. 2) I am paying you for your services, please focus only on me for the few minutes we have together -- I am putting my health in your care and am paying for your expert opinion. 3) Discuss all of my lab results in plain language that points out where I need to make improvements and where medication is needed and the duration of time that I should expect to be on the medication 4) Clean up your physical space -- you are a high-paid professional and your office should reflect that.

Dr. Silver likes to give his patients brand name medications and keeps on patients coming to him even with the simple request like the dosage change. He insists on giving patients new meds. Like others saying, he likes new medications, those expensive ones.

Dr. Silver has got to have a kick back from medication suppliers. Always has to give you something new..and NOT usually a reasonably priced one. Short of patience even if you're slightly overweight. I need something more for my care and am looking.

Always behind schedule with irate patients in waiting room. I hear patients yelling at him in back rooms because he gives them a diagnosis and then sends them blindly away. He is terribly shy and spends less than 5 minutes with me each time and made me sicker than ever. I got new doctors who figured out what was going on and It took me a long time to reverse the damages that happened from being overmedicated under his care.
