Dr. Mark Allan Barnard, MD

This is my second surgery with Dr. Barnard. Again he is Amazing Doctor and with out a doubt you will get the best results. He listens, compassionate and explains where you understand what is being done. The staff Jene and Mary makes you feel welcome and will answer any concerns that you may have. Debbie the receptionist also, makes you feel so comfortable and is very pleasant and she will make you laugh! We always have good Conversations. I always look forward coming in the office . Thanks Dr. Barnard and staff .

I had wanted an elective procedure for most of my young adulthood. I had seen several plastic surgeons but never fully trusted them so never went through with the procedure. I was talking with a co working who had been a client of Dr Barnard. She told me how great he was. I was skeptical but made an appointment anyway. The office staff were so friendly and professional. Dr Barnard was so professional and HONEST!!!! Being in the healthcare field myself, I wanted it laid out as “the good, the bad, and the ulgy”. And to know if anything went unexpectedly, I could trust him to be there to help fix it. Many surgeons will do a procedure and if it ends up botched, they ghost you. I knew within 10 minutes, he was the surgeon for me. The surgery went great and the results are fantastic!!!! I recommend Dr Barnard 110%!

I saw Dr. Barnard twice and was quite satisfied with both visits. He is a smart doctor, plus he is a decent person with a good, professional personality. I'd recommend him to anyone, especially when your other choice may be Dr. David Congdon, also in Waterloo. Dr. Congdon is such an arrogant jerk (read the reviews on him!), that when Dr. Barnard opened a practice at Covenant Hospital, I immediately made an appointment with him. I had to go up to Mayo Clinic recently, and because Congdon is Mayo-trained, the physician there said I could do follow-up care with Congdon. I said NO WAY and mentioned there is another board-certified doctor in Waterloo named Dr. Mark Barnard--how about me following up with him instead? Mayo, of course, gave their OK. I know I will be treated like a human being, not like a creature from an inferior social caste. By the way, I as highly-educated as both doctors--and I am not related to anyone I've mentioned in this review!
