excellent service, no nonsence approach.

Dr. Buchly was my surgeon 20 years ago when i was first diagnosed with breast cancer. He could not have been more caring and supportive throughout the whole process and through the following years. My primary doctor stated that Dr, Buchly was his choice for surgeon for his own family. When my cancer came back 20 years later, a evening call was returned within 20 minutes and I know that I am again in the most professional and caring hands possible.

Dr. Buchly has always been a doctor I could count on. I refuse treatment from other physicians because of the lack of concern and knowledge of my condition. He is a surgeon and many of his patients go to him as if he were a general practice physician (I am guilty of this one). Doctors have a duty to their parients health and well being as well as the patient.

He really advocates for his patients, but in my case for a corrective surgery, he did great work but did not include gortex as we discussed, so within 6 months, my incision herniated and now I have to face a third surgery to fix the problem again. He finally fessed up 1 year after surgery that he didn't use gortex saying "Didn't think you needed it". Seems to me that someone on a second surgery for herniation with major scar tissue WOULD obviously need extra incisional support. He whines a lot about how little he is being paid for surgery from insurance and even collects extra copays when they aren't due (for followup surgical care).
