Dr. Mark Douglas Burd, MD

I had saw this most excellent Doctor, He took me on board and helped me through so much adversity. He stuck with it and never shy ed away from finding a solution. Dr Burd is always on top of his game. He also will fight for you through the insurance red tape. He is caring and compassionate through tough times. I would recommend Him to anyone if he was still in family practice. I started to see him in the summer of 2004. If he ever comes from being a hospitalist I will be looking him up.

Althouh Dr. Burd is frequently late in keeping appointments,I see this as a strenth rather than a weakness. If he is late, you know it is because someone needed more time than they were originally alotted and he spent that needed time with them. While it can be frustrating waiting for him, you take comfort in the fact that some day you may be the one needing the extra time and he will be there. Dr. Burd is very thorough. He strives to put all of his patients at their optimim level of health and usually nails their problems and solutions to those problems the first time he sees them. However, if there is some part of their health that he feels could be better, he is relentless in finding a solution.
