exceptional doctor

He has very poor office practice. Has an assistant that handles rx refills that needs more than a lot of work on her people skills. I was even told that I should thank her for calling my rx "even though it was at half the usual dose". He is shame! Absolutely REFUSES to refill rx and will not return calls. After a week in ICU following a very risky surgery preformed by a "qualified" surgeon, I phoned my pharmacy to fill ALL of my rx's since Dr Strong had just called them into the pharmacy (to include refills) only to be told that my requests had been submitted several times to no avail. One of the MAJOR risks of discontinuing at least 3 of these meds "cold turkey" is passing out and shortness of breath. I have experienced both and have just this week had the strength to contact my insurance company. The rep experienced the same run around. I would never refer anyone and plan to IMMEDIATELY find another doctor for my family. There just seems to be more/less going on than "ethical" The… best thing I have to say about this practice is the front desk receptionist... she is love!

I wouldn't recommend him unless you're just looking for someone to refill prescriptions. He has less than zero interest in listening to your symptoms, diagnosing, or following up. I've been three times, and usually wait over half and hour for an average visit length of 3 minutes. His bedside manner is brusque and insensitive, cocky and dismissive. He really doesn't listen at all. This last visit really shocked me -30 seconds in, while I'm mid-sentence answering his question, he leaves the room to get his prescription pad, comes back minutes later, writes the Rx, and before I've even finished telling him what I'm in the office for he's out the door and the visit is over - under 3 minutes contact. His nurse spends longer with me just taking my weight and blood pressure! I'm surprised to read any positive reviews of him here. I have only gone back for acute problems when others were not available for several weeks, and I won't again unless I have an emergency. The only positive… thing I can say is that his staff is very nice, and he gives 12 month refills.

his front office staff,office manager and nurse are all very king. I got to spend time with all of them. I would recommend Dr. Strong to any of my friends, co-workers and neighbors. I am actually looking forward to my return visit.

Waited for over 2 hours - and I was lead to believe this was a common occurrence in the office.

genuine interest in overall patient health. very engaging and compassionate. excellent bedside manner.
