I have been a patient of Dr. Kelly for 25 years since being diagnosed with bladder cancer in 1994. My first surgery was on a Friday morning. On Saturday morning Dr. Kelly came to my hotel room with the results of the biopsy...got all the cancer. How many doctors would do that? I continue to see Dr. Kelly for regular follow ups and had another surgery in 2014 which also proved successful. Ten years ago I moved out of the area but still go to Dr. Kelly despite a 40 mile drive each way through LA traffic. I wouldn't think of going elsewhere. I'm still around some 25 years later in no small part due to Dr. Kelly.

My primary doctor referred me to Kelly. I ended up meeting with Kelly 5 times before he operated on me. Before the operation, he portrayed himself to be an excellent and caring surgeon, and I incorrectly believed him. His attitude turned irritable even before I left the hospital. In the days after my release from hospital, it became clear my recovery was not progressing well. Kelly became ever more difficult to reach, and ever more abrasive. Two weeks after surgery, as my post operation bleeding increased, he essentially abandoned my case. He would not return my calls and only texted “go to emergency”. Ultimately, another doctor operated on me to correct what Kelly did, saving me. The doctor who saved me told me the job Kelly did was CRAP.

Caring, excellent communication & partnering with my physician, Dr. Loisides, to ensure that both could provide the very best care for me during a long and challenging illness. I was blessed to have these competent, collaborative physicians heading my health care team while I was hospitalized.

I developed a very serious urological condition and I knew that I needed the best urologist I could find. I asked around to all my colleagues and the name that came up the most often and with the most was Dr. Kelly's. I can say that he more than lived up to his reputation. The first thing he asked me to do when I sat in his soft brown leather consultation chair was "So tell me your story." He didn't need to know immediately about my tumor. He wanted to know who I was beyond my M.D. degree and my diagnosis. The care he gave and continues to give is world class.

Who are these people. I have been a patient of The good doctor for many years.He has treated me for bladder cancer that he diagnosed and cured. He has helped my daughter for kidney stones with kind and tender care. If you don't like his since of humor go to the comedy store, If you want a pro who is well respected by his peers, this is your doctor.

Dr. Kelly is in a league of his own with regards to his demeanor and professionalism. Fortunately my reasons for visiting him were not terribly serious, but I can say without a doubt that I would not hesitate recommending him to anyone in my own family. You wont find a better doctor.

I've seen Dr. Mark Kelly for kidney stones off and on for the past 20 years, including lithotripsy and emergency removal of a stone. I cannot say enough about his positive, friendly attitude, his knowledge, his responsiveness and his skill. In a very difficult operation, he removed a stone obstructing the ureter that could have killed me. He's always available when on call after hours and has been extremely generous with me knowing I lacked health insurance coverage. The best doctor of any kind I've ever encountered, by a long shot. Highest recommendation.
