Dr. Mark Robert Kahn, MD

They do not seem to understand the very important issue of identity theft and have very little respect for you personal information. I went to this office as a new patient, and was told that I needed to supply my social security number, which is NOT required by law. I explained that I was concerned with identify theft and would not supply that information. I further explained that even Medicare recognizes this issue and they no longer print your social security number on your ID card. I showed them my enhanced photo drivers license along with my insurance card, but that was not good enough. I walked out and will go else where.

I would start out with ..... Buyers beware!!!!! The first impression is often the front desk staff. I have found that ALL the front desk staff at this office are not customer oriented or friendly, they do not seem enthused to want to help anyone. They are very incompetent. My experiences at this office is as such: 1. I have had to wait over two hours to be seen, with a 9 am appointment. I made a big stink out of the wait time and Dr. Mark Kahn attempted to reduce the wait time whenever he saw my name on the schedule to around 30 minutes, still not acceptable if you are going by appointments, especially at that time in the morning. 2. They have lost my appointment before and when I showed up at my scheduled appointment time they tried to say that there was none, incompetence at its highest. 3. Dr Kahn does not return phone calls, does not matter how many messages you leave. I left three separate messages over the course of a week with no return call. This led to me having to leave… work early to get to the office for a prescription request. 4. Talking about prescriptions ... oh boy ... they try to strong arm you to use products that are sold at the office so that they can charge you a premium. The products at the office are not covered by insurance. For items that have to be sent out to a pharmacy, again they strong arm you into using their "select pharmacy" Windsor Pharmacy which is an online pharmacy, which they are probably getting a kick back from. Then Dr Kahn prescribes medication that is not covered by insurance. The last items he prescribed one was no longer available through the manufacturer, one was over $60 and the other was a whopping $500. He does not have the patients best interest at heart, all he cares about is lining his pockets We will not be going back to this doctor. If you don't mind waiting for hours, if you don't mind rude and incompetent staff, if you don't mind a doctor that does not value the time of his patients, if you don't mind a doctor that does not return calls, if you don't mind a doctor that wants to rip you off with over priced products and uncovered, expensive prescriptions ... then you found your guy.

Great doc

Went here years ago and always waited at least an hour. Five years later I figured id give it another try. Now here I am sitting waiting for the doctor in the examination room. Going on one hour and ten minutes and I was told over the phone that I was only the second appointment of the day. Don't waste your time for average quality when there are so many other comparable doctors in the area. I won't be back.
