Your bladder is the hollow, muscular organ in your lower belly where urine is stored. When you urinate, the muscles of your bladder contract and push urine out through a tube called the urethra. Bladder cancer starts when cells in the bladder start to grow out of control. These cells can form into a bladder tumor. They can also spread outside your bladder to lymph nodes and to structures far from the bladder, like your bones, lungs or liver. This is known as metastasis.

First & second joints of writing hand were frozen. Could not close hand or pickup anything with that hand. Doctor operated on each joint at a time, awaking me when each was completed to verify my usage of the joint. He also corrected a small carpel tunnel problem on this hand. After 45 stiches I had the use of the hand and could hold something, but can not totally close my hand tightly. The hand damaged is also effected by a sroke that contributed to the problem. Strongly recommend this doctor.
