Dr. Mark Robert Davis, MD

I was pressured to schedule an induction at 40 weeks and since my doctor wasn't available on the day I wanted, I was scheduled with Dr. Davis. When it was time to deliver he complained about his back when I told him I wanted to deliver on my side and said it was uncomfortable for him and he needed to work the next day. He also performed the Ritgen"s maneuver (finger up my rectum) while I was pushing, which he thought I could not feel. I kept asking if he was doing that and he did not respond and instead of feeling relaxed and focused when pushing I felt violated tense and uncomfortable which caused more tearing than necessary. He's the worst. It's been almost 2 years and I am still traumatized.

Dr Davis is the worst doctor I've ever had. When I asked simple questions he became furious and irate. He seemed very unstable and had to ruder bedside manner I've ever experienced.

Would never go back. Asked no questions about my condition. No opportunity for my questions.

He is a very fast, straight to the point type of doctor. Visits art 10 minutes TOPS, which for some people such as myself is good as I was able to get to work without too much time wasted. However, if you expect a "sit down and give me life advice" type of doctor, then he is not the one for you. He also performed my Cesarean, which was awesome as I hardly scarred. Would recommend.

I originally was going to Dr. Caryn Bray at the Woman's hospital. She was perfect, very concerned and caring and always had time for me and whatever questions I had. I then lost my job whebn I was 6 months pregnant and had to get on medicade. Dr. Bray did not accept this insurance and referred me to Mark Davis or Bruce Shephard. Well I know Bruce personally as I grew up with his daughter, so felt a little weid going to him for these type of apts. So Mark Davis it was! He seems to be very fast with his visits. He has no bedside manner and is in and out like he is too busy to act like he cares. He takes a quick listen to the HB and measures, I have yet to be told where Im meassuring, so no idea if im latrge, small ect. I also told him that I did not think the baby was moving as much as last week and he sggested that I go to the hospital if I feel its a concern and they would hook me up to monitors and see how she is doing. Im hoping when it comes time to deliver he wont be as quiet and… show a little compassion for the miracle of birth or at least let me know Im doing a good job, that always makes a new mother to be feel a little better about the whole experiance.

I found out I was pregnant and made an appt with dr. Davis. I waited a month to get in. Two days before I was to see him I started spotting and cramping. I called and the nurse was supposed to call me back, she never did. I finally was hurting so bad I went to the hospital, they finally releassed me and told me I definitly needed to see my dr. as it was a tubal pregnancy. I miscarried the next day, terrible pain, when I got there for my appt. Dr. Davis would not see me because I had miscarried.

He and his staff make you comfortable and make sure he meets your needs. He delivered all 4 of my children. I would definitely recommend his service.

I really liked the way he was always quick and accurate. He was really nice... I adored him
