I agree with one of the other reviews this guy should not be practicing dermatology I got misdiagnosed

Dr Bernhardt is the best!! Won’t go anywhere else. He explains everything and spends time addressing your concerns. Has a great bedside manner. Mrs Bernhardt is a doll!

I had my skin rash for years and been to many dermos No one helped me till I went to dr b who immediately diagnosed me and cleared me up in two weeks!

This doctor should NOT be practicing medicine!!! Went to see him since he is close to my work for a painful bump on my head. The doctor told me it's a hair follicle infection and that with strong antibiotics it should go away in 48 hours. Well 48 hours later I was in so much and the bump grew 2 times the size. Went to see another doctor and was very quickly diagnosed the right way this time and felt better almost instantly, not a hair follicle infection at all! To make matters worse I developed a severe complication from the antibiotics. I called the office right away to speak to the doctor and was ignored for 2 days, still waiting for a call back. Oh they also make you pay all your co-pays and deductibles in cash probably to avoid people from stopping payments after bad diagnosis. Whatever you do DO NOT go to this office, find another doctor trust me!!!

I have been to many dermatologists and Dr. Bernhardt is the best! Really cool office, very nice and helpful staff.

This joker totally missed a melanoma on my face despite doing a "total body scan." Luckily I trusted my gut and got a second opinion and found out I needed immediate surgery. Now hoping the biopsy results come back clear and I don't need further treatment. Stay away from him.

I was seeing another dermatologist for a dozen years with eczema problems. This doctor kept giving me stronger and stronger cortisone creams and ointments to no avail. I lost almost all of my fingernails (only had little stubs down the middle of each finger). The last time I call my old doctor's office in Plantation because things were just getting worse, they told me there would be a 2 month wait. I was beside myself. I called Dr. Bernhardt's office and he had me in there in less than a week. He tested my skin and asked me how long I had been using the cortisone products. He told me that using these so often for so long was half the problem. He gave me a treatment plan and now my eczema has been under control for the most part and I have never had a problem with my fingernails again. That was 10 years ago. He may be fast, but he's good.
