Dr. Mark Hastings Smitherman, Sue, and the office staff are the absolute best. The only downside to his practice is that he can only accept a limited number of new patients, and demand for him is high (if you are one of his current patients, you know why).

I have been going to Dr. Smitherman for many years. He ALWAYS takes time to listen to my questions and gives great feedback. He explains why and and goes through my list. If you could clone the practically perfect doctor, he would be my choice.

Dr Mark Smitherman is an excellent physician. He is smart and compassionate. He has cared for my mother for the last 13 years and saved her life more than once. He has been a rock of support for me as a caregiver, and my mother and I are very fortunate to have his expertise and guidance. Thank you Dr Smitherman!

I'm a surgeon. I think these online reviews are, well, a bit silly. You get what you pay for, which is, of course, nothing. Usually, only folks with a beef will post something. Let me tell you this. Dr. Smitherman has taken care of my (rather difficult) mother and father for years. He is outstanding. He is compassionate, brilliant, aggressive, practical, well-trained, accessible and a stand-up guy. Stop looking. Go to him.

Dr. Smitherman is a diamond in the rough. He is extremely professional and doesn't miss a thing. He manages every aspect of my care and follows up on labs, x-rays and diagnostic testing. His office is timely in notifying me of any new findings or healthcare needs. Dr. Smitherman takes the time to explain things to me and offers options. I am truly lucky to have found a physician like him. Thank you Dr. Smitherman!!
