Misdiagnosed bacterial meningitis as upset stomached.

7 month old infant presented with 104 fever, lethargy, unusual breathing patten. Dr. Wills did not even perform blood test. Next day ER dr at another hospital did lumbar puncture and had child air lifted to CHO. Child required 5 weeks PICU and 3 mos hospilization. Misdiagnosis caused CP, Epilepsy, quadriplegia, blindness, inability to swallow and severe cognitive damage.
