Dr. Marleen I. Meyers, MD

As much as I would like to recommend Dr Meyers I am inclined to tell you to stay away. She is impersonal, aloof and lacks compassion in the field of oncology where compassion is in high demand. She is not meticulous in her follow up on conditions that need constant revaluation. I recommend you get a second opinion from someone else at MSK.

I am very lucky to be in the very capable hands of Dr. Marleen Meyers. From day 1 of my Stage 4 diagnosis, Dr. Meyers has been positive, emphasizing quality of life. I have been her patient for five years. During our appointments, she answers all questions and spends as much time with me as needed. She is warm, intelligent, and knowledgeable- a great lady!. I couldn't ask for a better oncologist. Equally wonderful is Thelma, the nurse practitioner who works with Dr. Meyers, and Laurie, her secretary, who makes all needed appointments for me.

I must say she is such a Great Dr. she sat down and went step by step with me on what was going to happen. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and she made everything so easy to deal with

And Dr. Myers staff is fabulous, in particular, Thelma and Laurie.
