Dr. Lepow acted like she had interest, examined my child, asked questions and then, without doing blood tests, pulled me aside and said she thought my child should get counseling because his pain is all in his head. What kind of doctor makes this kind of decision without looking at blood tests?Upon my insistence, she ordered blood tests... and then called and said she was confused because the blood tests came back positive for an infectious disease... but felt he needed no treatment. By that time my child was having frequent facial neurological tics, falling down with seizures, could barely walk and was physically ill... excruciating pain in head, muscles, joints, etc. We found another doctor and he is currently getting better with proper treatment.
