Very knowledgeable doctor. His knowledge about all the particulars of the medications was very impressive. He is easy to talk with and never makes you feel like you are being rushed.

Dr. Smukler delivered our 3rd baby, and third son. He recognized that the baby had broad shoulders and coached me to stop pushing while he eased the baby's shoulders out. It has been 37 years since that birth, so I don't remember all the above , but I do rate him as excellent!

My experience with Dr. Smukler over the last six months has not built much confidence in him or the practices of workman's Comp insurance. I immediately given large amounts of pain killers which made me feel funny. Diagnosing the problem seems to be the last priority, instead he jumps through the insurance companies hooks and drags the process out. I would recommend finding a doctor that cares about their patience.

I have seen Dr. Smukler 6 times in the last 14 months. I would prefer not to see him, but am sort of stuck because of insurance complications. His front office staff is a menagerie of personalities. Some are friendly and sweet, some are condescending and rude. I don't get it. As far as Dr. Smukler, he seems nice, but bedside manner is hard to take. I would go so far as to say, for lack of a better word, slightly bullyish. I am looking forward to having my physical problem solved so I can move on.
