Dr. Martin Sloane Wolfson, MD

He is VERY RUDE, unprofessional and CONDESCENDING. And if you disagree with him he gets angry. NO STARS BUT IT MADE ME CLICK ONE. First of all he’s been treating my teenager for over a year and nothing has gotten better. On the phone just now he started YELLING at me. Saying YOU'RE THE MOTHER! YOU KNOW NOTHING! I'M THE COACH! IF YOU DON'T WANNA LISTEN TO ME, FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER! And he said to me- YOU SEEM TO HAVE SOME MOOD PROBLEMS OF YOUR OWN! All because I said no to a medicine he suggested. Literally screaming at me! I hung up on him. He is absolutely awful!

Had very few questions, and the questions he did ask were extremely rude. Was condescending toward every statement i made. Clearly did not want to listen or talk about my concerns. Insisted that alcohol is safer than marijuana and that i should substitute my smoking habit with drinking four beers a day. Weirdly asked if i had been tested for hiv several times even though i had already given an answer more than once. Huge waste of time and money.

His answer to my 15 year old social issues is he needs a girlfriend? Really? So when she breaks his heart because teenagers are fickled then we have bigger problems? Teaching him to find happiness in others is not an answer. Oh, and maybe join Boy Scouts was his other suggestion?

In all my 56 years of seeing Dr.'s I have never had such a horrible experience. I was berated and left office in tears. Dr. Wolfson is arrogant, doesn't let you speak (which is why you see a psychiatrist,) and does NOT listen. He should Not practice psychiatry. Seek out other Dr.'s. Center for Stress Reduction is what is WRONG with mental health in America!

Does not listen. Ignorant and arrogant. Most importantly unkind. Devoid of compassion I wish I never saw him. Drs are supposed to do no harm. Stay away!

Very involved. We're pleased.
