Dr. Marvin Robison Beard, MD

I have found Dr. Beard a caring and concerned person who goes out of his way to help his patients. His staff has always been friendly and helpful when I've needed to see Dr. Beard right away. I have never felt as if I am rushed so he can get to the next patient, and although I have had to wait more than 20 minutes at times, he has always been apologetic and willing to explain the problem.

Have been searching for doctor who can take all the pieces of the puzzle and diagnose the main issue, and I found that with Dr. Beard. If you have an auto-immune disorder, this is the doctor to see. He does not promise cures, which do not exist. But he does not leave you feeling hopeless like most other doctors do. He does not just write you off. There are things you can do depending on what your specific symptoms are. There are steps you can take to improve your quality of life. He works with you. I really think he has the best approach.

I love Dr. Beard. He has been patient in trying to diagnose what we believe is rheumatoid arthritis, and has worked through various medications with me to get my disease under control. I was referred to him by a friend and, in turn, have referred him to many of my friends.

This Dr. is the bighest jerk i have ever had the misfortune of meeting!!!I would tell anyone who asked or didnt ask not to waste their time or money. I went in for pain in my hands and feet .He did not bother to even look at them let alone xray them ,run some blood work,told me to lose some weight and leave. What did weight have to do with my hands? I was left setting there staring at the door and wondering what the heck just happened .I hope that some day he gets paid back for all the mean things he has said and done.

Big jerk! Snob! Thinks he's better than his patients. Treats his patients like they're nothing.

Dr. Beard misdiagnosed my problem. He told me I was going to have a stroke. When I got upset, he told me everybody had to die from something.

Upon first visit, this dr decided the things that were wrong with me is not what is the matter. Taht I didn't have ABC Illness, nor did I have BCY illness. These cannot be diagnosed without tests. Which he had not ran. If you do not fall into a particular flow chart then he doesn't want to treat you. Even after having nurse to call and say you have a disease, you go in for a follow up-which he said if you want to come ok if not ok. To be told nothing. But without the test results he would not tell you what it was that he was looking for what it may possibly be. It was like you were not to know it was only that he needed to know why he was running a test or scheduled a test and he was the only person that needed the test results.
