Dr. Mary Cathrine Arrieta

I applaud Dr. Arrieta's conscientious approach when it comes to dispensing medication for mental health disorders, including ADHD. She does not hesitate to seek formal testing unlike some pediatricians who use a trial and error approach to medication as a way of ruling out the diagnosis. Perhaps any wait is due to her being so thorough.

The wait is long the staff is unorganized unprofessional. My children has been misdiagnosed also my youngest child had shots and a couple days later had a knot on their leg. The office is also very understaffed you have your front desk people working on the back office the nurse is never returned your phone calls you have to call them to get your results of x-rays or let work that is so unprofessional. The office also have a high turnover staff and time you go in there and there's new faces when you get used to one person there's always someone new.

DO not bring your kids here!!!!!!! Waited for 2 hours +

I just want to let anybody know if they are looking for a new doctor in the Petersburg or the Colonial Heights area please choose this doctor. We have been seeing now almost 2 years and she has been soo helpful to our family. She is very good at answering all your questions and she will take time to listen to all your concerns. We have seen many doctors and she has been the best one so far. The only problem we have had in the past is with their office staff not returning our phone calls or sending out the right paper work to Grace's specialist doctors. They are very good about fitting us in if Grace is sick. I also like if we have a problem overnight she is always on call 24/7 and she is very good about helping you whatever you need overnight. I would highly recommend this doctor to anybody.

Dr. Arrieta has been very helpful to our family. We are new in town and we have been looking around for a good pediatricial for our children. After reccommendations from everyone we have met we decided that she would be the doctor. The visit confirmed her professionalism and her supreme knowledge in giving the best care to our kids. We are eternally grateful and will keep on going to her forever!

I would not recommend anyone to take their children to this office due to the high turnover of the staff and the way the doctor treats people. She does not spend enough time with the patient and the staff is not polite at all. it's hard to get someone to return your calls and to also get an appointment.

The wait times are long, the diagnosis has been off a few times. what was only head lice was diagnosed as being dermatitis, medication was prescribed to treat the wrong symptoms on a 1 year old baby. If you love your children find a new pediatrician, do not take them there.
