I called the doctor’s office, hoping to get the receptionist rather than voicemail. While the phone rang, I even dared to dream I’d not only reach the receptionist, but she’d connect me with the doctor’s assistant rather than the assistant’s voicemail. The phone was answered. It wasn’t voicemail. It wasn’t the receptionist. It wasn’t the doctor’s assistant. IT WAS THE DOCTOR HERSELF. Yes, Dr. Husney answered her office’s phone. I was so surprised, I blurted out, “Why in the world are you answering the phone?” She laughed and said being more accessible to patients was one of the benefits of her new practice. And she really was. Not only did she swiftly arrange for the test that was the reason for my call, but she also answered several questions I would ordinarily book an appointment to discuss. As always, she was professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I didn’t feel rushed, and at the end of the conversation was happily satisfied all my queries were completely and correctly… answered. I was already a fan of Dr. Husney as an excellent physician. Her new business model is icing on the cake; it's how medicine should be practiced! Receptionist rating: FIVE STARS. Would call again. Physician rating: FIVE STARS. Professional, knowledgeable, skilled, informed, caring, thorough, and just plain nice.

I love Dr. Husney! I have been a patient for years. She always takes the time to help me with all my health stuff. She explains things and supports my decisions. She encourages without being pushy or letting me off the hook.

Once you get to her, she's the greatest! She just left the practice she was at, so the ratings may change

I've been seeing Dr. Husney since the early 2000s. I even followed her from her previous 2 practices. From the beginning she always seemed to have as much time to chat as I needed. She included me in her thinking - taking my opinion on board. She makes me feel like a partner in my care vice just a patient. She's a wonderful doctor and I can't imagine going to anyone else.

Overall, caring and compassionate but when asked to elaborate on diagnosis, received virtually no interactive feedback. Need to work on verbal communication skills. Would have appreciated more specific feedback in general.

Dr. Husney is a nice lady but she isn't ever there. The last three times I needed an appontment she couldn't see me. And sometimes she looks like I'm boring her, almost falls asleep but i was the one who had to wait so long for her I am going to change doctors.

She is a great doctor for female checkups and has a nice manner, however, she and her staff were quite dismissive regarding the cold/virus/infection that has now gone into its fourth week, necessitating subsequent doctors visits, several prescriptions, and over the counter medications. I don't take time out of my schedule to visit a doctor and make a copay lightly. The nasal wash she recommended gave me a lingering infection and I do not need to be told about handwashing, vitamin C and tea with lemon by the time I have taken the trouble to see a physician.
