Dr. Mary Josephine Sarrantonio, MD

She seems nice in person when she is talking to you. But if you ever requested her notes from visits she leaves nasty and rude comments about you all over them.

My daughter has been a patient of "Dr. Mary" for about 4 years now. She always takes her time getting updates directly from my now teenaged daughter. She works with us to determine the next steps in my daughter's treatment plan. We've seen such positive results with Dr. Mary. The medication my child needs regularly requires insurance validation/certification every 6 months. This is the first endo my daughter has had that responds in a timely manner, meaning no disruption. Before it was me fighting with the insurance company and the doctor to get the certification, but not with Dr. Mary.

Would say she is about average. Examining room not clean. Long wait...

Wasn't impressed with Dr. Sarrantonio at all. She acted like we were taking up her valuable time. Also her examining room wasn't clean...

Very rude. I went 10 minutes late because I had difficulty to carry my disabled child in the elevator,I apologize for the delay and she didn't want to reschedule the appointment.The staff told not to come to their office.I really don't understand what the problem is whether we were black skinned people or I have a disabled child.I didn't say a word,I came with so much pain.I would never ever recommend this doctor.

I couldn't ask for a better Dr. for my son. Each appt. she has spent an amazing amount of time with us, explaining everything in detail and making my son feel at ease. I've spread her name already to other guys that need her service! She even contacts me between visits to see how my son is doing. What Dr ever would spend an hour with each patient??

Our daughter has been a patient of Dr. Mary's for nearly 6 yrs. Ever since our first visit with her she continues to amaze us with her knowledge and care. She truly does care about her patients! Our General Practitioner had requested some of Dr. Mary's notes, and even they were amazed by her! That's saying something! Dr. Mary is great at explaining things so that even a child can really understand their medical condition and helps them understand why the choices they make everyday makes a big difference in the success of their treatment and their overall health. We as a family are dreading the day our daughter is too old to be Dr. Mary's patient. I agree with others that the receptionist could be nicer, but we don't go to see the receptionist, we go to see the Best Doctor Ever!

I can't even say enough. This is the first time I met with this Dr. She set aside a 2 hr appt. time to work with us. Our appt. went perfectly. She is so respectful of my child. I can't wait to spread her name around to others I know require her services.

Dr. Mary is terrific. She is the most knowledgeable, with the best manner, of the many pediatric endocrinologists that we've worked with since or son was diagnosed with diabetes nine years ao.

I have experienced Dr Mary as both a patient and a caregiver for a patient. She is the most wonderful doctor anyone could ever have. She is caring, understanding, and really goes above and beyond for her patients. She works hard to establish a relationship with the patient, even though it does not require that much effort. As soon as you step into Dr Mary's office you immediately feel comfortable. The child I care for looks forward to appointments with Dr Mary, whereas with other Dr's and appointments, he does not deal with very well. Dr Mary is the most caring and concerned doctor when it comes to patient health, where other Dr's would turn you away, she embraces her patients, and ensures all are taken care of, no matter what. She takes a genuine interest in every patient, and unlike other Dr's, she spends more than 5 minutes with your child! This shows you she is really concerned with the childs health and well-being because her appointments are long enough to treat the child, not… just rush them in and rush them out like walking dollar signs. She actually knows her patients names, not just what file number they are. I really wish all Dr's were more like Dr Mary, she is one of the most wonderful professionals in the medical community, and I am so grateful to have been a patient of hers, and am so grateful that the child I care for has her as a Dr. If I was not too old to be a patient of hers, I still would be.
