Dr. Cavanna is one of the most professional, precise and delightful doctors one would ever wish to meet! His prices are very reasonable and the quality of care is the highest exclamation I strongly recommend anyone considering assistance and his field to contact his office. Very satisfied!

Dr. Cannava showed empathy and caring towards me and was attentive to my needs. The appointment started on time and I did not feel hurried through our time together. He demonstrated a wealth of knowledge concerning dermatology. I feel fortunate to have such a highly trained physician helping me.

My doctor was worried about a lesion on my nose...called Dr. Cannava's office, and I was seen the next day. I have been quoted wait times in Anchorage of up to 6 months! I was seen, the doctor diagnosed me with a skin cancer, and 2 weeks later it was removed in his beautiful office...they really took care of me as I was nervous! I can't say enough about how pleased I was. All I can say with regards to some of the reviewers below is...anyone who deals with the public knows that there are some people that are simply not happy in life...and speak ill of any medical professional!

I had an appointment with Dr. Cannava and the office was comfortable, his bedside manner was second to none, and his follow up was incredible. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

I explicitly expressed NO EXTRA TESTS on my daughter unless my permission was obtained first. This request was ignored and a test was done to "confirm the doctor's diagnosis" This doubled my cost of appointment. The test was done incorrectly due to staff/doctor error-therefore, the results were inconclusive. The only way I would get my money back on the test was to give him back the prescription he prescribed to fix my daughter's medical condition. Totally disappointed. I will go to Anchorage and go to a doctor who will respect what I request.

I would not recommend this doctor after seeing him several times. I don't believe he is interested in patients, only the money that being a doctor can generate. He has a very poor attitude & does not conduct a thorough examination.Drive to Anchorage if you need the services of a Dermatologist.

I would recommend going to see a Dermatologist in Anch. This Dr. has a very uninvolved attitude with patients & gives a poor exam. He does not seem caring or concerned about patients or about their experience in his practice. I have seen him 3 times trying to give him the benefit of the doubt & also because he is the only Dermatologist in my small town. I'm done.
