Dr. Matthew John Cunningham, MD

First let me say I don't like his nurse at all. Not helpful at all and doesn't return phone calls. Dr. C. is okay but its hard to get him to write prescriptions and he never seems to be able to recommend another doctor. He leaves it up to the patient to find who they need.

You can't find a better doctor than Dr. Cunningham. He takes the time he needs with each patient, making sure that they understand what they need to do, etc. Very thorough and compassionate. Our whole family has him for our physician. We all would highly recommend him to everyone. Wond

I was very surprised to read some of these negative reviews. I have been a patient of Dr Cunningham for several years and will remain a patient as long as I live anywhere in NY state. Yes, I'd travel 3 hours if need be to see this doctor! I left my former doctor of many years because he couldn't find time to spend with me. I felt like the minute he walked in the door, he had one foot propping it open to leave again. I was so happy to find Dr Cunningham the complete opposite. This man will sit down and talk with me as long as I have questions that need to be addressed. I find him charming, knowledgeable and very down to earth. He explains things so that I will understand them and doesn't leave the examing room until every question has been answered. The nurses, for the most part, are also very nice. I've had one nurse in all the years I've been there that was a little cold and distant. The others joke around and do what they need to do prior to the doctor coming in the room.… The front desk at times are abrupt and make you feel like you're in an assembly line but I understand, too, that they are trying to keep things moving as Dr Cunningham isn't the only doctor that they represent at the front desk and this is a fairly busy medical office. I would highly recommend him to friends, family and coworkers and in fact, have done so.

The Doctor is thorough, cheerful and easy to talk to. I appreciate how he makes a point of networking with my other doctors to get to the core of the problem. It cuts my "wait time" considerably when I am concearned about an illness. In fact I like him so much- well... he is now my husbands Dr. also!

Dr. Cunningham and his staff are extremely pleasant and professionalI have been a patient here for years and have come in for routine visits and emergency visits as well. I have seen the funny side and the serious side of many there at the practice.I have always left my appointments knowing what the diagnosis was and how it was being treated.Dr. C and his staff are number one all the way.

To make a long story short, the doctor said he would not prescribe me medication and that I had to go to a psychiatrist for my zoloft. Yes, I did not take the medication at first because I was against the drug, but he could at least got on the phone with me instead of relaying the message to me through one of his semi-professional office staff.

The front desk staff at Seton Health is rude!, the billing dept. a mess!!!

Great doctor. Spent more time with me then any other doctor ever has. Answered all of my questions. Never seemed rushed or bothered. I would highly recommend Dr. Cunningham.
