He is abrupt, rude and would never recommend him.

Over alk the experience so far has been very positive

I have gone to Dr Katz for over a year. He is concerned with my problem and discusses with me with his recommendations. He doesn't stay long to chit chat but listens to me and talks to me not at me! If you want someone to chat about all your problems he's not your guy, he is an expert in his field!

I was referred to Dr. Katz on Oct. 12, 2017 by another Urologist, which had been treating me for kidney stones for over a year. At my 1st visit with Dr. Katz, he informed me that my left kidney had lost all function and the right one was compromised...at that time he went to work saving my only functioning kidney, which he has done in less that 2 months. I only thought I had kidney stones and never knew all that was going on in my body. Thanks to Dr. Katz, his knowledge, expertise, kindness and fast actions I am on the road to recovery, and he has "saved my right kidney."

Terrible bedside manners and talks to you like you are stupid if you ask questions or seem concerned about what is going on with your body. Isn't that what he is supposed to do, he is getting paid (and quite nicely) to talk to us and make us feel more at ease about what we are going through. He always interrupts my wife if she is asking questions about me that she is concerned about. Will definitely ask to be referred to another urologist.

Let's see....condescending, pompous, argumentative, unwilling to answer questions, no interest in me as a patient, worst experience of my life...filed formal complaint with Hospital Administration
