Dr. Carroll was truly the light at the end of a very dark path for our family. By the time my daughter was just 2 years old, she had already been hospitalized more than 12 times. From age 3 and earlier, she was constantly in and out of the hospital, and despite being seen at some of the best hospitals and by top specialists in the area—Children’s National, Inova, and countless visits to her regular pediatrician—we were repeatedly told that nothing was wrong. Yet no one could explain why my baby kept getting so sick. When we finally heard about Dr. Carroll and her experience with complex and unique cases, we decided to try one last time. By then, I honestly did not expect much. So many doctors before had made us feel like just another number on a long list. But from the very first visit, Dr. Carroll was different. She truly listened. She asked thoughtful questions. She took the time to carefully review my daughter’s full medical history. She was the *only* doctor who noticed my… daughter’s low muscle tone and suspected a genetic condition. I was shocked—but within a couple of weeks, the test results confirmed it. For the first time, we finally had answers. They weren’t the answers we hoped for, but they gave a name to the darkness. For so long, I had felt deep in my heart that something was wrong, and I was right. Dr. Carroll provided us with guidance, resources, therapy recommendations, and information to help improve my daughter’s quality of life. She gave us a path forward. I truly believe God placed Dr. Carroll in our lives to ease our pain and help us find the truth. While we don’t know what the future holds for our daughter with this very rare genetic disorder, we are forever grateful for Dr. Carroll’s compassion, dedication, and expertise. We have been longtime patients of Ashburn Pediatrics. We have had issues with Dr. Carroll due to her inability to relate to our children, lack of caring for health history (which makes her always reactive) and tends to be confrontational with her body language and responses if she does not want input from parents. I do not recommend.

Very unprofessional doctor, inaccurate diagnosis. Only wants to make money and have patient come in again and again.
