Dr. Megan Pierce, MD

Absolutely adore Dr. Pierce. She was such a great doctor to have while I was pregnant with my second baby. She is so sweet and so professional. Strongly recommend her.

Horrible bed side manor. I am 20 years old and had a miscarriage a couple months back. When I went in to confirm the miscarriage, I was clearly very distraught and upset. She confirmed this as if it was no big deal and didn’t really matter being that I am so young. But to me it did, it was actually really upsetting (and painful by the way). When my boyfriend and I had ask about when we can try again, since at that point we were actually excited to bring a child into the world and had the means to do so, she shoved pamphlets for different methods birth control in our faces. Again, this was the same exact day I had a miscarriage. Overall, she seemed very judgmental and as if it should not have mattered to me to have a miscarriage being that I am rather young. Will never go to her again nor do I recommend her to anyone else.

I had en ectopic and had to go through surgery after surgery she didnt come in to see how i was doing or tell me how surgery went i had to ask my family ,my first time ever with surgery i wanted know details Couple days later woke up to the most unbearable pain i called since i think she was the on call she answered like she was being bothered and had no concern she told me if the pain continue go to the hospital , at that point i could barely stand i was rushed to the hospital to find out a cyst ruptures but i didnt need surgery . I called dr megan nurse who said wow i guess your having a bad week . Overall no sympathy , no care or concern , i felt like i was just another paycheck.

I initially liked Dr. Pierce. She is very friendly. She operated on me twice in six months for ovarian cysts. Before the second surgery and again when a third cyst developed, I asked her what could possibly be causing this. I explicitly asked if it could be endometriosis. She told me "some people just get a lot of cysts" and insisted there was nothing to worry about. When I went to get a second opinion, I discovered the diagnosis was in the medical records and had never been conveyed to my husband and I. By then too much time had passed and the damage was already done. I'll never be able to have children now. A timely diagnosis and proper treatment could have changed that. I'll never understand how someone who is supposed to be an expert in women's health could miss a diagnosis or withhold it from a patient.

Dr. Pierce made my first time to the OBGYN seamless. All of my questions were answered and the pap smear was so quick and painless, I couldn't believe it.

I would definitely choose her again. After my son was born I was going though some pp depression and she helped me out a lot and even just to talk she was great. Plus she knows her stuff and she is just a great dr and I would go back to her 100%
