Dr. Mehmet Tamer Yalcinkaya, MD

Would NOT recommend this doctor. Does not get back to his patients after multiple emails and leaving messages on their voicemail. Their voicemail says they will return calls left before 4 pm the same business day, but that is not the truth. Treated me more like a number than a patient. Did not feel like he genuinely cared about me as a patient. Very transactional experience, not genuine at all.

Run away from this man!!! I had surgery with him in 2010 that was supposed to be laproscopic. When I woke up, I had been opened up. I was told that the myoma was too large too remove laproscopically. These were all LIES. A year later I began having horrible pain. I contacted him and he swore it could not be his surgery. I requested appointments and he kept cancelling them and pushing them out. He was intentionally pushing it to pass the 2 year statue of limitations. Later on I discovered he had punctured my intestines during the laparoscopy and was the true reason for the change in plan and my pain. he is DECEITFUL and will put patients´ well being at risk to save his own skin. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!!!

This is not a doctor that will try to find answers for you. This is a doctor that will choose a diagnosis, proceed with it ignoring all evidence that doesn't quite fit, and only start looking for real explanations after the patient has paid for repeated failures. If I had produced fewer eggs, he might have run me out of them entirely before looking for what was going on. As it is, I would never trust my remaining embryos to cycles he planned.

He is very thorough and spends time answering any questions. I was worried about going to an RE, but he was kind and understanding.

Top notch specialist. He really knows and uses cutting edge technology. More importantly, he makes you feel at ease. Great personality.

My friend recommended him.I'm living in NY.I went all the way down to NC to see him.He was very caring.He always answered my phone calls.I'm pregnant on 14 weeks with twins.Even now after 14 weeks he still cares about me and he talk to me.He is embriologist is top of line person.You can watch all the process trough big glass window. They have best equipment money can buy. The machine takes pictures of your embrios every 10 minutes so they do not have to open the door of the fridge as often as the other guys. We drove from NY to NC we stay there 1 week. I think you should do the same thing.

Dr. Yalcinkaya IS THE BEST! He is very approachable, and I always felt comfortable talking with him. He's very positive and genuinely cares about his patients. He listens to your concerns and takes the time to reassure you. IVF is a complicated process and it did seem chaotic at times, but it was really comforting to have a doctor that I trusted. I had an exceptional IVF cycle and am now 12 weeks pregnant with twins. :) I just wanted to hug him (but I refrained) on our last appointment. He had carried us through such a tough time and he felt like a friend. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Yalcinkaya!
