Dr. Melissa Judith Streeter, MD

Been a patient a long time. Have had numerous Surgery’s with her as my Surgeon. She is so knowledgeable, and has specialized in URO/GYN just had a Surgery for Bladder Prolapse, and Vaginal Vault Prolapse, to name a few. She did extensive research with a Surgeon from a Sigmoid Collectomy 1/25 which made it less than favorable to do any abdominal incision. She spoke with Surgeon, and did extra study off sight to do a less invasive Procedure Vaginally. Her care and professionalism stands alone! Shes so knowledgeable. And has experience. She is highly recommended. I have full faith and trust in her, her staff and support staff in OR are all amazing!

Dr. Streeter is an absolutely amazing, incredibly capable and kind physician, and I 100% credit her and the amazing nursing team at MidCoast with saving our son’s life after a sudden complication in my wife’s pregnancy. I would trust her with literally anything.

She is absolutely amazing! I've seen her for 11 years now and is by far the best. She is so compassionate and caring. I feel so comfortable talking with her and having take care of me. I recommend her to anyone looking for an OB or Gyno doctor!!

After talking to another doctor in her office who didn't care to see me or listen to my symptoms and diagnosed me with a miscarriage I called the on call doctor who happened to be Dr Streeter. As I cried on the phone she was so compassionate. Once I told her my symptoms she told me to wait on taking the medication the other doctor prescribed to dissolve my pregnancy as she suspected an ectopic pregnancy. The same symptoms I gave the other doctor. Anyway, long story short I did end up having an ectopic pregnancy and if it wasn't for Dr. Streeter actually treating me like a human I could have continued on and ended up with a burst Fallopian tube which would have been very dangerous. I am just very thankful that she took the time to do her job and be compassionate. Losing a child no matter how early or late is heart breaking!

I can't think of anyone who would be more comfortable or more professional. I moved into this area and selected Dr. Streeter. I have been so pleased to find her here!! Top notch.

Dr. Streeter was my OB for 3 yrs (2 pregnancies), she was amazing. The staff is great as well. I never felt rushed. I always had a smile on my face on the way out. I wish I could've packed her in my suit case when I moved. She's one of the greatest Ob's I've been to. I would reccomend her to anyone.

Dr. Streeter was one of the finest physicians I have ever seen. Up to date on latests surgical techniques, willing to discuss all the options, potential complications, pro/cons and details of proceedures, etc. Thorough post surgical overview in the hospital w/great follow-up. If you are in need of any gyn related surgery, I could not recommend anyone more highly.

Great diagnosis, follow up and wonderful bedside manner. Definately spends enough time with (me) and lets me make decisions regarding my treatment. Very supportive.
