Dr. Michael Alan Buch, DO

I was disappointed that Dr. Buch had a medical student with him who he spent much more time with than with me. It was my first appointment with the doctor and I was not asked if I would mind if a student accompanied the doctor when he saw me. Had I been asked, I would have said that since this was my first visit, I would rather not have a student present. Having the medical student present, and especially Dr. Buch’s focus on the student, severely hurt the patient/doctor rapport that is important to me (and I’m guessing lots of others). I chose not to go back.

I went in to see the doctor, because my hand was breaking out and he didn't even look at my hand. He literally stared at his computer and then prescribed me A LOT of steroid cream. No questions to try to pinpoint the problem... nothing! Then I was having headaches and he refused to do any testing on me and I requested testing. He then prescribed me a very strong migraine medication that has horrible side effects that I refused to ever take. I will never go back again!

I was told I likely had cancer and spent thousands of dollars on medical testing. I was terrified and his bedside manner did not help. He could have handled the situation much differently and with better care and compassion. I will not return to his practice.

Excellent care every visit.

Fairly prompt in getting me in at app't time, appears thorough in his assessment and I never feel like he is in a hurry to move on to the next patient. He is my physician as well as my wife's and two teenage sons and we have no complaints with Dr Buch.
