Dr. Alexiades concentrates on orthopedic surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder and elbow, including arthroscopic surgery for each of those joints, joint-sparing surgery and joint replacement. He takes a minimally invasive approach whenever it will give the best result for the patient. He is an early adopter of the Mini Anterior technique in hip replacement surgery, in which no muscles are cut and the patient can generally go home in a day or two. He is also an early adopter of partial knee replacement which offers faster recovery in selected patients.
