Dr. Baron your office staff needs to be trained on customer service etiquette. They don't know how to talk to your patients in a professional manner. No name is given when answering the phones. You're put on hold for long periods of times with out given an explanation of why you're being put on hold. No apology for being on hold for long periods of time, then you have to repeat your question to whoever answers. Prescriptions call in are ridiculous, it takes two to three days after several follow ups to get the office staff to follow through. I understand the doctor has to look over patients requests and sign off but it takes too long. The Pharmacy send the request and the patient has to keep calling 2 and 3 days afterwards before someone does anything. No reminder calls for appointments, I know that might be a courtesy of the practice. You're told one thing and when you get there its something else. They don't listen well because you give your name and date of birth several times and they still call you the wrong patients name! Write the information down if you cannot retain in your head. It's never a thank you for anything!!! I called and spoke with Renee to request copy of records to be transferred she put me on hold without an explanation. After a 3 minutes Maxine answer and says how can I help you, I told her I was speaking with Renee and the put on hold. Maxine says to me do you want to speak with me or Renee. I told Maxine you will not talk to me like that and she put me back on hold. Dr. Baron that did it for my husband. The office staff is horrible! I apologize for putting it out here like this but they will not put us to your the will only take your name and number and you will never get the complaint. I know my husband has been a patient of yours for a very long time. Some of the incidents that's occurred I know you're not aware of. My husband is transferring to a doctor close to our home. He speaks highly of you and I feel you are an excellent doctors as well. However, when you have an untrained or just don't care staff makes a difference. I work for Northside Hospital and we take pride on customer service with our patients and families and it makes a difference. My husband does like change, for him to request a new doctor it's bad. I witness this and has experienced it myself with your staff making calls for my husband. Attention is really needed!!!!!! Thank you for your services to my husband.
I have been a patient for approximately 5 years and it is difficult getting a returned call from Dr. Barron and his staff is not helpful or knowledgeable at all. I am actively searching for a new Doctor.
I attempt to return all phone calls the same day. If a patient hasn't been seen in the past year, the staff usually asks them to make an appointment. I attempt to personally review and communicate all test results within 2-3 days. Most patients are very pleased with the thoroughness of their reports. I would be happy to speak with this reviewer to clear up any issues.
