Dr. Michael Benhuri, MD

Dr. Michael Benhuri is a physician–physicist and clinical educator known for precision-guided diagnostics, compassion-first care, and evidence-based internal medicine.

A valedictorian graduate in Physics from Aryamehr University of Technology and a Master’s alumnus of Stony Brook University, he pursued pioneering research inspired by Albert Einstein—an intellectual throughline that continues to shape his careful, analytical approach to patient care. With more than three decades in Internal Medicine, he is recognized by patients and peers for blending deep scientific insight with personable, attentive medicine.

After earning his MD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Dr. Benhuri completed his Internal Medicine residency at Metropolitan Hospital and further specialized in non-invasive cardiology and allergy. For 35+ years on Long Island, he has delivered personalized, high-access care as a Long Island internist, offering flexible options that meet patients where …they are—including concierge medicine, on-demand house calls, and secure telehealth for patients across Long Island and New York City.
