Summary
I grew up in Northern California but San Diego has been my home since 1978. I am married and have two grown children. I enjoy reading both fiction and nonfiction, listening to classical music, and walking/hiking. I have been practicing nephrology at Kaiser Permanente since 1984. I think that what I have enjoyed most about the experience has been the opportunity to get to know and help many people who were in difficult situations but who went on to overcome their problems and make good lives for themselves.
