Dr. Michael John Brunsman, MD

Doctor Brunsman was there for me for one miscarriage and throughout my pregnancy with twins. I will never recommend any other hospital or doctor in this area. I am from Boardman and the drive is well worth it. Perfect pregnancy, perfect twins, perfect delivery.

I was a patient of another doctor in Pendleton until my last appointment when I sat waiting in the room (undressed) for 55 minutes. I had taken time off work for this appointment and felt as though my time wasnâ??t considered important. I dressed without being seen and started to walk out of the exam room. The nurse questioned where I was going. I told her I needed to return to work. The doctor was sitting at a computer in the office space next to the exam room. I left the office, called Dr. Brunsman's office to schedule an appointment. Told the receptionist what had just happened and they were able to get me in the very next week. I went to the office to sign the request of transfer for my chart that very day. I felt valued from the minute I called the office, the first exam and every time I've been seen or called the office since. I love the office staff, nurse and the doctor. Pendleton is lucky to have such a caring doctor!

I don't believe there is anything I don't like about this doctor.He did 2 surgerys on me & had given me the best care. .I have recommended this doctor to family & friends. I still see this doctor on a regular basis for my annual exams his staff & himself take really good care of me as a patient & a person

I 1st contacted him for birth control & the staff was kind enough to get me an immediate appointment. When I became pregnant the entire staff was kind &courteous & appointments were a breeze.Unfortunately I suffered a miscarriage & Dr. Brunsman & his staff were so very kind & helpful. Couldn't ask for a better experience in such a horrible time.

Dr Brunsman is very kind. He also has a very nice nurse. I feel at ease, even though he is a GYN. ;)

With only three OB-GYN's in the Pendleton area, OB care is often limited. However, I have been to two of three OB doctors that are currently in Pendleton, and I can safely say that Dr. Brunsman is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had, hands down. He is thorough, but not pushy when it comes to ordering lab work or imaging. He is laid back and easy-going. He always called me personally with any results (rather than sending me results in the mail). If he is unavailable, I've always been able to speak the the nurse with any questions, or if she's busy, I've never had any problems leaving messages with the front desk staff.Gail the nurse is an absolutely wonderful person. Very caring, compassionate, and sweet.The front desk gals were helpful and considerate (always left me reminder calls the night before), and seem to be genuinely caring people.I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an appointment, and their office does not have any weird policies about rescheduling… or arriving late. Whenever I've had any concerns, if the office was busy, the receptionists take messages, and then I've heard back from Dr. Brunsman or Gail later in the day. When he was available, I've been able to talk to him directly if he was not with a patient.Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Brunsman and the gals in the clinic, and several of my friends and co-workers agree.As far as the previous comment, I'm not quite sure what to say...I guess you can't please everyone! I was never treated like a number, nor did I ever feel like Dr. Brunsman did not know who I was or care about me as a patient..quite the opposite in fact. As far as misquoted information, the only people who told me about my labs and medical information was Dr. Brunsman or his nurse Gail.Overall, Pendleton is lucky to have Dr. Brunsman. I plan on remaining his patient for as long as he is here.

By my third visit to this office Dr Brunsman still was unfamiliar with who I was and how long I had been his patient. His office staff is friendly but can be excessively nosy about medical information before setting up an appointment, and it is hard to get an appointment earlier than 24 hours even for emergencies. On more than one occasion the receptionists asked for or gave out information that should have been handled by a nurse, one time miss-quoting information that they were unfamiliar with and causing me a lot of emotional stress over test results. Overall I felt that this office and doctor was friendly and professional at an average level, but took no time to know me and my views/opinions/knowledge about my medical care or to follow up properly with results of visits. In the middle of my pregnancy I am looking for another doctor, hoping to find someone who won't treat me like a number.
