Glad this doctor has retired. I'm 81 years old and was misdiagnosed by Dr. Dawson and almost lost my life. I spent a week in the hospital in Tifton under Dr. Dawson's care and all he treated was my symptoms. I lost over 80 lbs. I saw a doctor in Douglas that immediately diagnosed me with diverticulitis and I required surgery. I'm now 82 and eating and doing all the things I use to do, no thanks to Dr. Dawson.

Dr. Dawson is a great physician. He has wonderful bedside manner. He also helped me be at ease prior to procedures.

Very poor staff and billing is a nightmare. Poor skills in commucation, does not give much detail to treatment and follow ups. Vastly overated.

Dr. Dawson is an excellent technical physician. Apparently he is in very high demand in the hospital where he is called away on a lot of emergencies. His staff is very distant and act a bit unsocialized. Dawson on the otherhand is frank, clear, thorough attentive though a tad hurried due to his overload. As a former hospital administrator I strongly recommend him due to his clinical and diagnostic competence.

my son has ulcerative colitus, I am 100% sure that Dr. dawson saved the life of my son!
