Dr. Michael J. Peterson, MD

I came in to see Dr. Peterson for a routine check and we waited over an hour to see him. Ridiculous! He is very nice but that wait time needs help. I had other appointments that had to be changed due to how long it took here. Hopefully it was just a bad day in the office.

He has always been attentive and shows concern. He takes his time and makes sure you understand and agree with any procedures.

I have never been so displeased by a Dr. in my entire life! I was in his office for a hurt ankle which I happened to sprang. He was well aware of the pain I was in so he said he was going to write me a prescription but forgot, as well as I did until I was in pain that night and their office was closed. I called the next day to talk to him about the prescription he never wrote me, and the lady who answered said she would leave him a message and he will get back to me soon. I waited two hours then I called again, and once again she told me he would get to it soon. The last conversation the Front Desk lady and I had, was her promising me he will get to the message and return my call before the end of the day. Here I am, 5:00pm and their office is now closed and won't be open again until Monday. I am now stuck all weekend in pain and there is nothing I can do about it at this point. I will NEVER go to this so called Dr. again!!!

Dr Peterson is a very good caring doctor. He always takes a good amount of time with you.

This is a great place to go. Dr Peterson is great and always takes time with patients. He also follows up to make sure things are good. Our family of 6 has gone to him for 8 years! We love him.

I am the mother of 4 kids, Dr. Peterson is my pediatrician. I absolutely LOVE him and the front office ladies:) We moved away from Herriman, and I tried a new pediatrician.....terrible experience!! So, I now drive 25 minutes to go to Dr. Peterson...he is well worth the drive time! From day one, he has made my kids and I feel important and taken care of. Dr. Peterson himself has called me after an appointment to see if my child was improving!! I think he is the best pediatrician ever:)

Visited Herriman Family Medicine for my annual physical examination. Upon arrival nursing staff made me wait 15 minutes even though i was supposed to be the first appointment. When I was asked back nurse asked me to step on scale fully clothed with winder coat on. Although that was peculiar Dr Peterson was apologetic for wait. My physical went well without concern and labs were taken. After several weeks without seeing results I called office not once but at least 5 times over three month period requesting copies of my labs and an explanation of them. Every time the staff said the doctor would call only to never have it happen. I have since asked insurance to file a complaint and ask for return of payment since doctor clearly has no intention of giving me what he was paid for. If you looking for results I would highly recommend you go elsewhere. They clearly could care less about the patient as this was clearly illustrated in their lackluster follow through.
