Dr. Michael Klufas is one of the absolute best! Dr. Klufas, Lynne Glaser and the staff are always extremely kind, patient and attentive to every concern. They provide wonderful complete care at all times including through this terrible pandemic. Just OUTSTANDING - Thank you Dr. Klufas, Lynne & staff - we truly appreciate all you do!!! One of the best doctors in Rhode Island. My family and myself have had the good fortune of having him as our primary care physician for over 20 years.

In these days if managed care , so called, it was refreshing and a relief to find this Physician. I'm fairly new to Rhode Island due to a job transfer. I asked co-workers and friends for names of a primary doc and investigated a bit. A couple weren't taking new patients , but fortunately Dr. Klufas did and I was able to get an appointment within the month, the nice receptionist offered that if I was having an urgent matter she could get me in more immediately, but luckily that wasn't necessary . Dr Klufas made me feel immediately relaxed , was very pleasant, and did take a good length of time with me on my first visit, and I thought very thorough , asked lots of questions and didn't rush me out. I've had two subsequent visits . One scheduled, and when I called once when I had a really bad stomach bug, the office took me that day. I saw the NP who is very nice , I could have seen the doctor himself the next day but I didn't want to wait . I felt awful. I really like dr klufas , he… smiles, he's pleasant and obviously very smart and a good physician. I've never heard anything negative and other nurses and doctors I've met speak very well of him as well. His office staff is very pleasant too and nice on the phone and willing to assist you. Very nice people .

I really think Dr Klufas is a great doctor. He's always very kind, gives me time to talk, and has always taken the time to answer questions and explain my concerns. If there's an issue with labs or testing, his office has always been quick to notify me and explain what's going on, and let me know what the next steps would be, if any were needed. The office staff is great, especially his nurse jeanne. I feel very fortunate to have such a thoughtful and competent doctor. I hear from many that I know in the local medical field, that he works day and night and is very dedicated to his patients. I think that's wonderful .

very very kind, smart, doctor . puts you at ease immediately, explains everything to you, genuinely concerned with caring for you and he listens to you . has always returned calls promptly. his office staff is very nice and helpful also.

I feel Dr. Klufas is a very good doctor. Very pleasant fellow, very smart and can always answer my questions thoroughly . He's pretty laid back and puts you at ease. Medically, he's top notch, knows his game. He's always been right on the mark, in sorting out ,diagnosing and treating my medical problems. My only negative, is that with the exception of his nurse practitioner, the rest of his office staff could be a little more couteous and professional, in person and on the phone. But as for Dr. Klufas himself, , He's what every doctor should be .

I know these days you hear mostly negative comments, statements, and reviews of just about everything these days. I had a touching experience when my Aunt, who raised me, fell quite ill just this winter, and was admiited to Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. She was and has been under the care of Dr. Michael Klufas , who is a very very good Doctor in my opinion. He takes excellent care of my Aunt, and kindly and patiently answers any questions, concerns I and other relatives may have without making us feel like were a major disposition. Very considerate, and very smart to boot. I am also astounded by the great hospital staff that I encountered at MHRI, and I want Dr. Klufas and anyone reading this site to know that. I especially want to point out Nurse Liz, a total spitfire who knew her stuff, and was very attentive to my Aunts needs. She was wonderful. The Best ! Nurse Andrew, " Nurse Blue Eyes" was also very gentle and kind for such a tall dude, and very handsome . My Aunt was… in love him, and being an excellent nurse just made him perfect . We LOVED Andrew. Next there was Teri, the absolutely beautiful continuing care nurse, who had to be most genuinely warm, sweet and caring person I ever met in my life. So kind and always smilng. She took alot of time holding my hand and comforting some very frightening emotions I was feeling when my Aunt was doing poorly. And her well witted sense of humor was perfect relief for all of the family, including my Aunt. Last but not least is the fabulous fabulous Social Worker Steve who has the patience of a saint and help my family sort through alot of issues and referred us to many great resources and came up with many viable solutions to a few mini crises. Steve's patience and compassion helped us more than any one can realize. An absolutely wonderful man. Oh I can't forget Olga the nurses aid !!! She was exceptional too ! Dr Klufas is excellent. We couldn't ask for a better man to care for family and I hope Dr. Klufas knows what great people there are caring for his patients. My family was delightfully surprised with the level of care and professionalism by all.

Dr. Klufas has been my doctor since I moved to Rhode Island a few years ago. Good way about him when he talks to you , answers questions in real english, makes you feel relaxed. I like that he calls or his office calls to answer questions, but he's always willing to talk yo you himself . He's pretty complete too. Doesn't miss much or jump the gun. He's just as good in the hospital, doesn't rush when he's with you.Someone else who commented on this site mentioned the case managers at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. For two days I had a very good case manager . She was a gorgeous Hawaiian ( I think) woman I wanted to take home with me. It was winter, abd she looked nice and warm. Seriously, She was beautiful, inside and out, extremely helpful in answering all the questions my wife and kids had. Called back everyone of them every time . Then, a couple of days later, the gorgeous Hawaiian case manager had to go work on a different floorand I was stuck with the most miserable crotchety case… manager who was as worthless and uncaring as she looked. Her name was Maureen. That I remember . Rude, unhelpfull, rude to my wife andchildren on the phone, who all live out of New England, They all can't be wrong about how rude she is. They must have dredged her out of a pit somewhere. I hope Dr. Klufas realizes how his patients get treated by such a shrew and how she is allowed to even work with people. If I get admitted to the hospital again , Im requesting the Hawaiian Case Manager.Sorry for the complaints about that one hospital person. But it was pretty bad . Dr. Klufas is a great doctor and a decent gent. I gave no complaints about him at all.

He takes great care of me. I couldn't ask for a better physician.A nurse case manager I had at Pawtucket Memorial Hospital raved about Dr. Michael Klufas, his kindness, and the great care he always gives his patients. I absolutely agree.
