Dr. Michael Byrne Littleton, MD

No doubt saved my life. Severe case of Colitis required resection of 13 inches of colon. Several doctors involved couldn't decide what to do and time dragged on as i got worse. Dr. Littleton insisted that surgery was imperative. I shall be forever grateful. I felt i was treated with respect and was kept informed of what was happening. Added plus, he is a nice guy.

I've been to a lot of doctors but this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. The doctor apparently got in late so appointments were badly delayed. The office was packed full and I waited almost an hour and a half past my appointment time. Nobody bothered to call me to try and reschedule. I go back and get a cursory "what's your weight and height" from the nurse and Dr. Littleton comes in to spend all of five minutes telling me that there's nothing he can do except give me antibiotics - which, by the way, were never sent in to my pharmacy. Based on this experience, even if my problem became severe enough, I wouldn't let him operate. Big waste of time.

Dr Littleton did my gallbladder removal and to have had surgery, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! He and his staff are so nice. It was my first surgery and they were patient and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed and Dr Littleton did all he could to relieve my anxiety and tell me everything to expect. I am very glad he was my doctor! The only negative is the wait time. For both my pre and post op appointments, I had to wait at least 45 minutes past my apt time.

Honestly, I have rarely met a doctor who showed as much compassion as Dr. Littleton. He is patient and answers all of your questions. His medical staff is so sweet and knowledgable and willing to answer any questions. The only issue I have is with his front office staff ;one of whom was extremely rude and unwilling to accomodate me during a visit shortly after having back surgery. Thankfully the contact is minimal with that office person. His medical assistant is wonderful! His surgery scheduler extremely competent and compassionate.
