Dr. Michael Alexander Lypka, MD

DrLypka did a somewhat complex surgery on my daughter. He came highly recommended however, I will add that I'm not easily impressed, I’m not the most trusting person & for me, trust is earned not given out on day one. I can be incredibly high maintenance, with high expectations & very high standards (I’m also in the medical field). I could almost immediately tell he is confident in his medical skills & I trust him 100% (again, that is unheard of for me since I haven’t known him that long) & as promised, my daughters surgery was HIGHLY successful & he actually cares about his patients & was EXTREMELY helpful from insurance to keeping us informed. He’s very thorough & it’s very very rare to find a doctor (in any specialty) who has an excellent bedside manner AND the clinical skills that are amazing!! I wouldn’t take my daughter to anyone else. Ever. He’s truly THE BEST & I HIGHLY recommend!

He's one of the best doctors my son has at children mercy .

We were introduced to Dr. Lypka after our daughter was born with a complete cleft of the hard and soft palate. Not knowing this before hand, scared us because we didn't know anything about children with cleft palates. Dr. Lypka was extremely patient with us and answered all our questions. Every appointment we had with him there after was great. On surgery day, we were told by many hospital staff that he is the best and such a perfectionist. Our daughter is now two years old and I was told by her dentist that her repair was the best palate repair she has ever seen and she has been a dentist for 20 years! Our daughter may require another surgery and I am tempted to travel from Houston to Kansas city just so we can use Dr Lypka again!

Dr. Lypka performed surgery on our daughter a little under a year ago in Houston, TX and we wish so badly that he was still here. He is an amazing doctor and showed more passion and concern for our daughter than any other doctor she has seen. We highly recommend him!! Jade was so lucky to have him.

I would not go anywhere else. This is by far the best..front the office staff to the doctor and hospital. I have such respect for them and am thankful for what they have done for my little boy.
